Home Sweet Home.

We are finally back home and back to the norm. We are very excited to be settled back in and back in our normal routine of things but that just means back to the responsibilities of life. We love going home because we get spoiled, we lose track of time (and we like it), we re-live old times, we catch up with friends and family. In all of the fun, it is probably good that we (along with my 2 brothers and their family) are gone so that my mom can get some good rest for a little bit. I know she loves having us around, but let's face it, we are all a bunch of kids in adult bodies. And when we get together, we like to have fun. On the way home we stopped to see Spencer and April one last time before he heads back out to California. It was a short and sweet trip to one of the best: Chic-Fil-A. We were amazed at the politeness and hospitality of the workers. Oddly enough we were greeted by an employee opening the door for us and saying "Hi! Welcome to Chic-Fil-A!" We heard other things like, "How is everything?" "Are you doing okay?" "Did everything turn out as you wanted?" "Would anyone like a refill?" *Sigh* We felt like royalty at the local Chic-Fil-A. We threw around the idea of how happy everyone would be if this was the norm of services at all restaurants and then we realized, no. If this was the norm, we would still crave something better...entertainment, live music, free food?? Who knows? Reminds me of one of my favorite YouTube clips...I laugh everytime I watch:

***Best part of our trip...We arrived home at the same time as our neighbor and we were greeted with this Christmas treat:
YUUUUMMYYYYY!! We have some of the most amazing neighbors!

Now to get started on taking down all of the Christmas decorations. Sadness.
