Vacation II ~ Arbuckle Wilderness!

*WARNING* This is a LONG post with a LOT of pictures...
Please take your time and enjoy them all...
Continuing from Vacation I, while in Davis, Oklahoma we ventured over to the Arbuckle Wilderness (said in a really funny hick accent). Their were 2 parts to this adventure. The "Walk-Thru" and the "Drive-Thru." We were told to go through the "Walk-Thru" first since it would be closed by the time we got out of the "Drive-Thru." Oh boy am I glad we did that first because I would not have wanted to end on that. (It was not that great.) Although, it did give us some bad feelings about what we were getting into with the "Drive-Thru."

Here were the 2 best things about the "Walk-Thru." Martin fed an ostrich, and Chad pet his feathers:

Although technically this was probably against the rules...there were no signs posted. Another moment in which Hillary and I supervised. Literally, that was about it so we headed to the car for our next adventure....
First up....Emus...quite the scary things too. They were definitely our least favorite of the animals. Poor Chad in the front seat...

The camels were probably the most entertaining but they were pretty scary too!! Here they are trying to steal Hillary's cup....She held on tight though! *I was not as lucky with my cup! :/

Here are the ruthless camels and the half-chewed on cups...

Martin's turn!...

Chad speaking with the Llama....

And a few of the other animals we saw...

The donkeys were by far my favorite! :)

Excuse his manners in the next picture. He had just enjoyed some of the yummy snacks I was feeding him...

Pretty view as we headed out...

After our long and exciting day out at the Arbuckle Wilderness (again in your accent)...we were ready to make some s'mores! :) YUMMMM...One problem....we had no lighter fluid for the fire pit. So, we settled on the grill and they turned out just right!
