Gobble Gobble at Mr. H's House!

After we ate and took pictures with my family, we headed over to Mr. H's house for dessert and to spend some time with the rest of Chad's family. The desserts were delicious (as always!) We devoured slices of peanut butter fudge pie made by Michaela, a meringue pie, and an amaretto cake...yum! yum! After dessert, we played the highlight of the night...old fashioned Ms. Pac-Man quarters and all. Chad of course got really into it when it became a 2 player game (not that he is competitive or anything ... haha). He did create the new high score though!

Way to go Chad!

We also played a good ole' fashion game of Jenga. It was fun until the anticipation set in at the end! And once the blocks hit the granite counter-top we were done.
It. Was. Loud.

I think we all jumped. haha!

As always it was a very nice visit.

Happy Turkey Day!

We spent Thanksgiving Day with most of our family this year...
We sure missed you Alisa!
It was a great visit, but tooooo short. We ate a lot of turkey and dressing and pies...oh my! I had fun hanging out with the clowns. Making pictures using construction paper, glue, scissors and cheerios. Watching Ty have the time of his life playing with Daisy. Wearing my winter clothes/boots. Falling asleep to Christmas movies. And, hanging out with the 'girls.' The weather outside was a little chilly but soo nice, so we took the opportunity to take some pictures.

*Warning: Picture overload...*

Right after the photo shoot we headed over to Mr. Hutchins' house...

Headed Home for the Holiday

Rudolph led his sleigh to east Texas...

With an elf packed inside...

And a sleepy little reindeer...

Until he arrived in East Texas for the Thanksgiving holiday...

Seems we were a bit mixed up!

Christmas Decor

The weekend before Thanksgiving (yes before Thanksgiving), Chad and I worked hard at decking our halls with boughs of holly....fa-la-la-la-la....

Chad manned the outside...

While I took the inside...
and since I'm posting late, I actually have some presents under my tree now!

We get so excited each day as we see more and more Christmas lights go up around our neighborhood. So go ahead. Join the party. Get your Christmas lights up! :)

What we've been up to...

Please forgive my lack of blogging, things have been a little crazy around here!

We celebrated my dear friend Hillary's nephew's birthday at Mr. Gatti's. It was the perfect little boy birthday party and you could tell he was having a blast!...I spy a birthday boy below:

My mom's school had one of their celebrations for the end of the six weeks. It was an 80s theme and she called me for some wardrobe advice. I don't deserve any of the credit, because this outfit was all her and all awesome. This is her (in the jeans) with the some of her office staff. Love it!

P.S. Mom~Don't be mad that I posted this picture. :)

Last but not least...We put up our Christmas Decorations!!!!

All together now....*It's the most won-der-ful timmmme of the yearrrrr...*

All of us at the Saturday race...

Just hanging out at the campgrounds...

We're about to release a "Sky Lantern". (aka: Unidentified Flying Object) These were being released all over the campgrounds once it turned dark and it was so neat!

Our Redneck Weekend

I always get a good laugh when Chad tells his friends that we are going to the races and they give him a hard time for being a NASCAR fan. We just got back from a great weekend at Texas Motor Speedway with my family and friends. I only have pictures from phones right now. I'll add some more later! :)

Here's us on Friday night having a good time at the truck race...

My black ear muff/head band = $1.50
Friday truck race tickets = $30
Gas to get there = $40
That look on Jared's face = PRICELESS.

Sunday race...Beautiful sky!

We sat on the back stretch for the first time and it was an entirely new experience. No lines at the concession stand, no lines at the restrooms, lots of room, small crowds...What?!!!!??!!!!!! Were we still at the races? Hmm...My dad said we might try those seats again.
I. Agree.

THAT'S ALL FOLKS!

Happy Halloween!

Who ever said dressing up on Halloween was only for kids?

Not I.

I'll let these blurry iPhone pictures speak for themselves...

And how about these guys? All decked out in their Call of Duty (Video Game) gear...
